Liverpool's legend Jamie Carragher has called on the club to return Philippe Coutinho - Brazilian football master which future in Barcelona seems to be extremely tough.

`I think we can still improve the midfield and I think we can attract a creative footballer, so last season the club tried to get Nabil Fekir, who made a much cheaper transfer this summer.

I've said it before - I would have liked Liverpool to return Coutinho if it was possible in any way. Obviously, things did not come to him in Barcelona.

I think it would be a great addition. Now we have Adam Lalana and Djerdan Shakuri on these positions, but none of them is Coutinho. He will give Liverpool something that the team does not have now compared to Manchester City.` said Carragher.
