Alfa Romeo driver Valtteri Bottas shared his opinion on how the 2022 season turned out for the team.


In the last championship, Alfa Romeo made progress, finishing in 6th place in the Constructors` Championship - a year earlier the team was only 9th in the overall standings.


Let`s just say that the season was mixed - there were both ups and downs. We started the season very strongly, but then we often had problems with the reliability of the car, and sometimes we were unlucky.


Also, some other teams may have managed to beat us in the car development race during the season. Although it seems to me that later we managed to recoup to some extent.


In general, we are focused on the long term, on the progress of the team over several years. And now we see that we are able to progress. So from the point of view of assessing the team`s prospects in the future, this season went well, " said Bottas.
