Former Formula 1 driver Mark Webber said he was surprised by drivers` statements about the sacrifices they had to make to get into the championship.


According to Webber, it is strange for Formula 1 drivers to talk about such things, given their salary and the opportunity to do what they love.


Let`s not beat around the bush - you get paid very good money and get an amazing job. This job cannot be called a burden.


Personally, I never talked about victims. People talk about sacrifices - how much they gave for this and so on. This is complete nonsense. Because if you want to achieve something bad enough, you will do it. You know, now all these young racers from Australia are talking about how much they sacrificed. But that`s not true, " Webber said.
