Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer thinks teammate Marcus Rushford can be compared to former Red Devils star Cristiano Ronaldo. The 22-year-old Englishman is making his best season so far with 13 goals in 21 appearances in all tournaments.


Asked if Rushford`s performance over Tottenham and Manchester City reminded him of the Portuguese, the specialist replied: Yes, it is very easy to compare the two in everything - skills, fitness, attitude, characteristics. The boy has every chance of the world becoming a top, top player. May it continue in the same way. I don`t want to talk about the amount of goals he has. As long as he continues to be positive and direct, as well as thinking about attacking and creating positions, he will score goals, Solskjaer said.


This is not the first time the Norwegian has compared Rushford to Ronaldo. He recently described goals from a direct free kick on a young talent against Chelsea for the League Cup as typical of Cristiano Ronaldo.
