The management of Bayern Munich will have sensational intentions to return to the position of coach Joseph Guardiola. According to Bild, the Manchester City manager is in the first place on the list of three candidates for Niko Kovac`s successors. The Spaniard`s contract with the `citizens` expires in 2021, but in Bayern they hope Pep will return to the Allianz Arena next summer - four years after he left Bavaria. The other two candidates are Eric Ten Hag and Thomas Tuchel.

According to Bild, Guardiola`s family prefers to live in Munich, which can facilitate the process of returning the Spaniard. Pep`s closest people are now back in Spain because they don`t like Manchester. Guardiola still owns an apartment in Munich.

The Spaniard`s big goal in his fourth year at Manchester City is to win the Champions League. If he does, Gaurdiola will successfully close the cycle with the `citizens` and may try to do the same with Bayern. It was precisely the trophy in SL that escaped him in his otherwise successful stay at Allianz Arena.
